Independence & impartiality statement

quibble is an independent, issue-based campaign dedicated to identifying and fixing overlooked public interest and consumer issues. We operate with political neutrality and corporate independence.

  • Politically independent: We are not affiliated with any political party or candidate, and we do not endorse or oppose anyone seeking elected office. We engage openly with politicians, regulators, and decision-makers from across the political spectrum.

  • Independent Research: We are not owned or controlled by a company, trade association or industry group. Our staff alone decide what we research, how we conduct it, and the conclusions we reach. Our supporters have no right to edit, delay, or veto our work, and we never accept funding contingent on particular findings or policy positions.

  • Personal Views: Our team members are free to hold their own political opinions, but they are prohibited from using quibble’s name, platform, or resources to promote personal political views.

  • Evidence-Led Work: Our campaigns are based on evidence and our own research. They reflect our independent campaign viewpoint and should not be interpreted as legal or professional verdicts about any individual or organisation.

  • Transparent Funding: We carry out due diligence on donations over £500 and reserve the right to refuse or return any donation that could compromise our independence, integrity, or reputation.
